Sheet Mailer

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms apply to the Sheet Mailer browser extension and this website. By installing or using the extension you accept them. If you do not, do not install it — and if you already have, uninstalling removes everything it stored.

1. What Sheet Mailer is

Sheet Mailer is a free browser extension. It captures posts you are already looking at into a Google Sheet you own, and sends email from your own Gmail account using the Google APIs, with your authorisation.

It has no server component. There is no account to create with us, nothing is hosted on our behalf, and no data you handle with it passes through any system we operate. What this means in practice is set out in the privacy policy.

2. No account, and no relationship with the services you use

Sheet Mailer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Google LLC or LinkedIn Corporation in any way. Those names are used only to describe what the extension interoperates with.

Your Google account is yours and your relationship with Google is governed by Google's terms, not these. Likewise your LinkedIn account.

3. You need your own Google account

The extension acts as you, using an authorisation you grant and can revoke at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sheet Mailer to:

5. LinkedIn, specifically

This matters enough to say on its own. LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated collection of data from its service. Sheet Mailer is built narrowly — it reads only a post you have opened and explicitly asked it to read, it does not crawl, scroll, paginate, run in the background, or call LinkedIn's APIs — but whether your use complies with LinkedIn's terms is a question about your use, and it is yours to answer.

Enforcement, if any, lands on your LinkedIn account rather than on us. We cannot restore, appeal, or compensate for a restricted or closed LinkedIn account. If that risk is unacceptable to you, do not use the extension.

6. Email you send is yours

Every message is composed by you, from your template, and sent from your mailbox. You are the sender in every sense that matters legally. You are responsible for complying with the law wherever you and your recipients are, which may include rules on consent, accurate sender identification, honouring opt-outs, and data protection.

We do not see, store, review, or moderate anything you send. We cannot retract a message once Gmail has accepted it.

7. Availability, changes, and the fact that this may simply stop working

Sheet Mailer depends on Google's APIs and on the structure of LinkedIn's pages. Both change without notice and neither is under our control. A change at either end can degrade the extension or break it entirely, possibly for a long time, possibly permanently.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the extension at any time, and we are under no obligation to maintain, update, or support it. Your sheet and your sent mail live in your own Google account and are unaffected by anything that happens to the extension.

8. No warranty

Sheet Mailer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

In particular, and without limiting the above, we do not warrant that information extracted from a post is accurate or complete, that mail will be delivered or will reach an inbox rather than a spam folder, or that the extension will operate without interruption or error.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, opportunity, goodwill, profits, or employment prospects, arising out of or connected with your use of Sheet Mailer — including email sent to the wrong recipient, email not sent, data written incorrectly to your spreadsheet, or action taken against any account of yours.

Sheet Mailer is supplied free of charge. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is nothing.

10. Your data

Everything the extension stores stays in your browser, and your captured rows and sent mail live in your own Google account. We hold nothing, so there is nothing for us to delete on request. Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data from your browser. The privacy policy sets out each item and how to remove it individually.

11. The software itself

You are granted permission to install and use the extension for your own purposes. You may not present a modified copy as the original, or distribute it in a way that suggests it is endorsed by us.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. Material changes will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. If part of this is unenforceable

Sheet Mailer is available to people in many countries, and these terms do not name a single governing law or forum. Nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the place you live — where a provision conflicts with such a right, that right prevails and the provision does not apply to you. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
